Indian agriculture is facing increasingly complex challenges in meeting the food demands of a growing population has become a pressing concern. Our plant breeding program is dedicated to unlocking the full potential of plants to address the significant challenges facing sustainable farming by leveraging cutting-edge breeding techniques and technologies, we strive to reduce farmers' risks.

Agroisia Seeds has established a state-of-the-art research and development center in the Bengaluru rural area of Karnataka state. The facility spans 25 acres of land, providing ample space for research and development activities.

Our breeders are experts in developing superior hybrids and varieties of various vegetable seeds. We maintain dedicated field blocks for breeding each crop to support our research objectives. Our primary goal is to develop hybrids and varieties of vegetable crops that cater to the needs of farmers and consumers. We prioritize higher yields, disease and pest resistance, abiotic stress , wider adaptability, better shelf life, and enhanced nutritional parameters.

Our primary research focuses on key crops such as tomato, hot pepper, okra, cucumber, watermelon and gourds. We perform extensive testing  prior to  release, to assess the field-stable resistance and suitability of our developed breeding materials in different hotspot areas. We actively collaborate with esteemed research institutes, such as AVRDC (Asian Vegetable Research and Development Center), IIHR (Indian Institute of Horticultural Research) and leading state agricultural universities on various research activities. We leverage expertise and innovation to advance agricultural research and development through these partnerships.
